Thales graduated from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) with a BSc in Computer Science and he is a MSc in Computer Science from the Federal University Fluminense (UFF). During his academic life, he was always interested in using GPGPU computing to solve problems specially in the field of computer graphics. During his professional life he acquired experience developing custom multi-platform 3D CAD software capable of handling massive amounts of data. Moreover, he has been studying GPGPU technologies since 2008 and he is eager to contribute to the LPGPU project.
When not working, he likes to watch movies, to play racing simulators and to try new recipes at the kitchen.
