LPGPU partner, TU Berlin, last week hosted the latest in the hugely successful HiPEAC ’13 Conference series in Berlin. Across three days, over 500 delegates chose from 8 parallel workshop tracks, and the main conference paper track. A vast range of highly enjoyable presentations and topics were easily discovered. The location, the Radission Blu hotel, features an absolutely massive aquarium, AquaDom, occupying 7 floors of the hotel’s central atrium, and provided a stunning backdrop for attendees to meet and discuss between presentations. Next year HiPEAC moves to Vienna.
Our own LPGPU Workshop on Power-Efficient GPU and Many-core Computing (PEGPUM 2013) took place as part of HiPEAC 2013 conference in Berlin. The workshop website at lpgpu.org/wp/2013-pegpum-workshop has now been updated with presentation slides.
The third day of HiPEAC was EU projects day, and allowed us to provide a poster presentation of the concepts and progress of the LPGPU project. Representatives from 4 LPGPU partners: TU Berlin; Uppsala University; Think Silicon; and Codeplay Software were on hand to field questions from attendees.
